Highland Dancing Registration
This will be an outdoor competition – bring chairs etc. It will be held in conjunction with a piping and drumming competition. Dancing will take place under a pavilion and will take place at this location rain or shine
Highland Dancing Registration Information
FEES: Primary, Beginner, Novice: $27.00 plus $1.00 Scotdance fee, Intermediate, Premier: $32.00 plus $1.00 Scotdance fee. Entries must be received no later than May 15, 2020. No telephone or mailed entries will be accepted. Online registration refunds available until May 4, 2020.
REGISTRATION: Online Registration Only (payment by credit card).
Entries limited to 110 dancers.
This competition typically closes early due to maximum entries.
RULES: All competitors must show a valid Scotdance registration card. Any dancer without a card, will incur a $10.00 charge and awards will be withheld until the card is produced. The competition will be run in accordance to the rules of the SOBHD. The judge’s decision is final. Age as of May 23, 2020.
AWARDS: Categories will be scrutineered to 6 places. Awards will be two places less than the number of competitors dancing to a maximum of 6 places. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and ribbons thereafter. The most senior class will receive cash awards as follows. 1st-$30, 2nd-$25, 3rd-$20, 4th-$15, 5th-$10, 6th-$5.
High aggregate trophies will be awarded in all categories except Primary.
The Kingston Scottish Festival, Rob Roy Pipe Band & Highland Dancers and The City of Kingston/Lake Ontario Park will not be held responsible for any loss or injury incurred during this event.

- 9:00 am for Primary, Beginner and Novice
- Intermediate and Premier not before 12:00pm

Premier – Fling 4, Sean Triubhas 3&1, Village Maid 4, Jig 3&1
